Hollywood star and humanitarian Angelina Jolie has given $1 million to help relief efforts amid the coronavirus pandemic. While Jolie is contributing to the “No Kid Hungry” organization to stay underprivileged kids from going hungry throughout the Covid-19 disaster.
“As of in the week, over a billion children are out of school worldwide as a result of closures connected to coronavirus”.
“Many kids rely upon the care and nutrition they receive throughout school hours, including nearly twenty-two million kids in America who depend on food support from school.
No kid Hungry is creating resolute efforts to achieve as several of these children as possible,” the Hollywood star said in a statement to E!
Previously, singer Rihanna, action star Arnold Schwarzenegger, Hollywood couple Ryan Reynolds and William Blake lively, and singer Shawn Mendes also contributed the charities of their choice within the wake of the pandemic.
