Hollywood movie “Parasite” has continued its march through the awards season by winning the best original screenplay award at Saturday’s Writers Guild Awards in Beverly Hills, Calif. The Nazi satire “Jojo Rabbit” had home the best-adapted screenplay award.
The Writers Guild Awards were just a week before the Academy Awards, where both films will compete in the best movie category.
The movie Parasite win went to the film’s director (Bong Joon-ho) and Han Jin-won. Filmmaker Taika Waititi won for Jojo Rabbit, a film he also directed and starred in.
